This a day to unify the autism community by banding together and spreading autism awareness through a 5k Race/3k Walk benefiting Autism SpeaksU, a division of Autism Speaks!
Rally your friends, families, and coworkers to join us in downtown State College, PA in support of a common goal--to find the causes, effective treatments and a cure for autism. On April 4, 2008 the 4th annual “We Are…Curing Autism Now 5K Race/3K Walk” presented by Beta Sigma Beta, Pi Beta Phi & Sigma Delta Tau will take center stage in State College, PA.
You may choose to either register as an individual, start a team, or join a team. Be sure to fundraise using your personal website once you have registered! In our 3rd annual event, over 1500 participants came out and helped raise over $150,000. With a three-year total of over $450,000 raised, this year's efforts should help bring us well over $500,000 raised in 4 years.
Join us for this year's event, which will feature a competitive 5K Run, a family-friendly 3K Walk, autism information, musical performances and much more. Imagine what we can do in 2009! We look forward to you being a part of the event this year! Registration will commence in late Fall 08!
